There’s an entry for “buck >> butt” in the Eggcorn Database:

If you check it out, also be sure to scroll down to the commentaries section at the bottom; in the third comment, Q. Pheevr helpfully provides links to three excellent Mark Liberman posts on the “buck naked/butt naked” problem.

Mr Blahyi, 37, is better known in Liberia as “General Butt Naked” because he went into combat with no clothes on, to scare the enemy.

When I saw this buck vs. butt eggcorn, I remembered a funny story from some years back. When my nephews were young, their family was befriended by an elderly man, and they called him Grandpa Buxton. But being so young, they couldn’t pronounce “Buxton,” and they called him Grandpa Buckskin (one pronounced it Butt Skin!).
