"inn table" for "end table"

I ran across this one on an email list last night. (Presumably for the common hotel arrangement of two beds with an end table between?) Found it echoed in a few places across the web:

“We got a two bedroom unit, with full bath and mini kitchenette. One room had two single beds seperated by an inn table.”

“Next to her on the small inn table a glass of white wine sat, reaching for the crystal glass, the maiden took a few sips, swirling the contents before each sip.”

“Well depending on the size of the crate you could do some folk painting , stenciling on them and use them as a plant stand, or inntable next to a chair.”
