Way off topic here, but since some of us have started posting word lists I’d love to see what this hyperlexic crowd can do with the category of words that sound suggestive, vulgar or obscene but aren’t. These are great to drop into an overserious conversation with a feigned air of innocence.
To get the ball rolling I’ll suggest:
clitic
crapulent
cunctatious
horology
fructify
flocculent
intercourse (when used in a non-sexual context)

A friend of mine used to confess to people (with lowered voice and averted eyes) that he and his girlfriend had indulged in premarital interdigitation.

“Titillate” is probably a borderline case.

titubation
bumptious
penuche
seamen
homophone
vulgate
succubus
niggardly
(Beware using this word casually. Fairly or not, it really offends some people, cf. “It was while giving a speech in Washington, to a very international audience, about the British theft of the Elgin marbles from the Parthenon. I described the attitude of the current British authorities as ‘niggardly.’ Nobody said anything, but I privately resolved—having felt the word hanging in the air a bit—to say ‘parsimonious’ from then on.” [Christopher Hitchens, “The Pernicious Effects of Banning Words,” Slate.com, Dec. 4, 2006])Offline
