'annual' for 'annular'

The recent posting of ‘granuality’ reminded me that lots of people get mixed up about annular eclipses and call them annual eclipses. Given the manifold connections between astronomy and the construction of calendars, it’s only natural.

A annual eclipse is a eclipse where part of the solar disk is visible, forming a ring of sunlight around the moon.
