'distracked' for 'distract' or 'distracted'

When you attend carefully to an object, you track it visually, mentally, or physically. So when the thread of your attention breaks, you are distracked. The new word can susbstitute for either ‘distract’ or ‘distracted,’ as most users appear to have a shaky grasp of tense. (‘Detracked’ for ‘detract’ is also seen, but is much less common). 1300+ ghits:
