After Psychology Today (I still need to put up a link to the scanned article), the Eggcorn Database got a mention—with a link—in The New York Times today!
It’s in Michael Erard’s review of Far from the Madding Gerund, Language Log’s collective book (uh, do we get a signed copy, by the way?)
Unfortunately, as these things always happen in the worst possible moment, our hosting provider changed something in their database setup and all the different database-driven sites in this domain went down for at least 3.5h (probably more) when Americans were just waking up. But the glitch is now repaired. Phew.
