'tempest fugit' for 'tempus fugit'

‘Tempest fugit’ is seen mostly as a deliberate play on words; among other things, it’s the name of a racehorse and a rock band, and the title of an episode of ‘The Incredible Hulk.’ However, there are plenty of innocent uses, and ‘tempest’ eggcornically captures the intended reference to the stormy and unsettling feeling of the flight of time. Examples:
