Welcome to the forum, pwoodford. I like “gut retching,” but then again I also posted it here a few weeks ago: http://eggcorns.lascribe.net/forum/view … hp?id=3370
That thread is long, but most of it has very little to do with “gut retching.” And looking at it now, I realize that I never responded to Kem’s final post. Probably just as well—I think he and I were the only ones still interested in the topic.
