Obviously, a taser gun is what police use, and a teaser gun is not. However,
WRAL News Story “An officer used a Teaser gun on French after he lunged at them, police said”
Maybe this is a typo, but I’ve definitely seen and heard it before.

Absolutely beautiful find, dirtygreek! “Teaser” is in very common usage on the web. Great ironical interpretation of the effect of a taser. Here in Canada the police are very fond of Teasers and insist that these weapons are just for teasing, when another poor sap dies electrocuted.
