I thought “typos” were not listed as eggcorns … “richeous” isn’t a word, so this is merely a phonetic misspelling, no? thank you for this site, by the way. I stumbled over it yesterday, and I’ve been groping around, looking for something like this for years. I’m a copy editor, new to my job, and I find myself confronting constructions like “beckon call” and needing some authority to back up my assertion that this is incorrect.
