ceiling wax (for "sealing wax")

I always wax my ceilings—don’t you? :-)

Example: “Those pockets would come in handy if you were a stylist, or a waitress, or a collector of string and ceiling wax.”

It’s not straightforward to check (most of us have gotten caught by this a time or two). Go to the Eggcorn Database (not the Forum) main page, and use the second search slot (the “Google Search”) there. I found “ceiling wax” on four pages there.

Oh—you’re right! I only did one search. It would be good to put a note above the search boxes to say “use both” :-)
