Yeah, here’s the one I just stumbled across on the ‘Net: “But while we’re waiting to purchase what will most likely be a treasured edition to our movie libraries…”. And I’d agree that the likelihood that it’s an actual eggcorn as opposed to just a substitution based on mishearing is much greater in these cases wherein the thing in question is something that actually comes in the form of editions, as with books or, in this case, DVDs.
