Thrown for throne

Could be just an innocent spelling mistake, but the way the lady in this picture has haughtily thrown herself in the seat seemed to make “thrown” quite apt:

I came across another thrown/throne substitution – the peakhawk thrown. I considered it a malaprop in that form, but you’ve come up with some suggestive connections.

Here’s the one I encountered yesterday:

One possible eggcornish meaning connection between “thrown” and “throne” that hasn’t been mentioned in this thread nor in this related one could be some sort of (unconscious?) association of “overthrown” with the “thrown”. “Overthrown” could evoke an image of a contender for power looming over the thrown or toppling the seat of power—turning over the thrown.
