Not 100% sure this is really an eggcorn, since both examples I was able to find could reasonably be combinations of a correct usage of “two-bit” with a correct usage of “shell of a(n) x”; however, “two-bit shill” is a common enough phrase that it seems most likely that “two-bit shell” is a reinterpretation of it.

Looks good to me, despite its rarity. Other hits were for a two-bit shell game, but it’s hard to say if there’s any cross-fertilization going on.
