Flaminyon, flaming yon, flay mignon for filet mignon

This one I cannot claim to have been deranged enough to be able to imagine myself. It was reported in the form of flaminyon on a social forum. There are lots of interesting mutations on that site that I am slowly working my way through to document for this forum. Don’t miss hit number four.

The justification would be something to do with barbequing (great word) and the attendant conflagrations.

I have taste for flaminyon, but I only have a burger budget.

A friend of mine wrote to me telling me of a fancy wedding she had been to. She said they spared no expense and had “flaming yon” at the wedding banquet.

I had my first flaming-yon in Chicago on Sullivan st.
I love Chicago

Roses are red
Violets are blue
You are like flaming yon

Flaming simblings include a flavoring of onion in flamonion, a cute roasting in flame mignon, and a flay mignon, a cute and tender skinning.

I RECOMMEND ESCARGO,AND POTATO SKINS FOR APPETIZERZ, AND FLAMONION FOR DINNER

Calling Japanese Riceballs as Donuts is about as sensible as calling a potato chip a flame mignon steak.

We ate flay mignon, rolls, condiments (they were listed in the menu), chicken, cotton candy, popcorn, desserts (jars of candy), and so much more.

We were about a year behind the curb on this one. The twitterverse was aflutter about flaming young at the beginning of 2011. The tumblr Egg Corns blog twigged me to this.

What is flamin young?
