Animal magnetism

I know several people who use the word “obeast” for “obese”. Anyone else? Strikes me odd.

No, but my late mother used to say “affixiate” instead of “asphyxiate”, and she thought “ASphyxiate” meant something to do with a person’s rear end.

“Obeast” is an eggcorn that gets a chuckle out of me every time. It has been spotted previously on the forum, here and here, but always welcome.
