pine combs for pine cones

Just spotted on FaceBook, after a tornado (?) in Florida:
“Sarasota, Siesta key was hard hit. We have Pine Combs & Needles everywhere.”
I have an attribution and screengrab if necessary.

When you find a “new” eggcorn, first search in the lower search field on the Eggcorn Database page ( labelled “Google Search”) to see if it’s already been discussed.

On the plain in Spain where it mainly rains.
