Since a woven fabric is, in a sense, a web of fibers, this is a natural substitution. Uncommon (but I’m starting to think we’ve caught most of the common eggcorns by now). Examples:

This is an interesting one. Except for the second example you cite, these folks might be misunderstanding not only the word weft but also the intended meaning of the word warp, such that the whole phrase means something like the curvature and fabric to them.
