Without the appropriate context, this poem would appear to be a rather ridged rejection of marriage, but given the aforementioned definition
There are many thousands of examples of these sorts of usages.

Many physically rigid items are rendered so in part by longitudinal ridges or ribs that stiffen them. (But check number of hits for e.g. “rigid inflatable†vs. “ridged inflatableâ€.) Similarly, in holding a bodypart such as the neck or an arm or one’s back rigid, muscles and the tendons attached to them tend to stand out in ridges. If one thinks the physical stiffness is named for such prototypical cases involving ridges, the same spelling would of course be taken as the basis for the extended, figurative cases.
