"The illiteral sense" and "illiterally"

This forum has a post about the propriety of saying “literally” when virtually is meant (link) and Ken provides some ill logical examples of “ill literate” (link see commentary 726). The following examples marry these two in a way. It’s not clear in exactly which way, as you’ll see. Parenthetical google hits for “illiteral sense” numbered 106, and “illiterally” reached 1450.

if you wouldn’t ‘kill’ in the illiteral sense for your child, you deserve not to have one…

A literal report very frequently conveys a very illiteral sense of a speaker’s meaning ;

Does that mean that you are taking your delusional and illiterally rantings and leaving? (http://www.mudvillegazette.com/cgi-bin/ … ry_id=1195)

Re: "The illiteral sense" and "illiterally"

It seems almost like a reclamation: people orienting to the fact that literally usually means “figuratively”. I note some indications that people are using the term advisedly. (See also burred’s second example.)

Someone has swooped down and captured the real stephanie and has replaced her with a clone with short hair and bangs reminiscent of/to DORA. 0.o
haha.. well, in the “illiteral” sense.

That was neither a Kimura or Armbar dudes, in both the literal or illiteral sense of the sentence.
